Do I need Linux or command-line experience?
No. Lifeboat is designed so you can set up a server, upload builds, configure SSL, and manage apps without the terminal. If you can build a Xojo Web app, you can host it with Lifeboat.
Which versions of Xojo Web does Lifeboat support?
Lifeboat supports Xojo Web 1.0 and 2.0. You can run multiple apps on one server, load balance across CPUs, roll back to previous builds, and use watchdog recovery, log review, and scheduled restarts.

What Linux servers and hosts are supported?
Lifeboat works with Debian 11–13, Ubuntu 20.04–26.04, and Raspberry Pi OS Lite. It has been tested on Amazon Lightsail, Digital Ocean, Raspberry Pi, and VPSDime. See Supported Servers on this page for details.
Does Lifeboat handle SSL certificates?
Yes. Lifeboat automates free certificates from Let's Encrypt, including installation and scheduled renewal, so your Xojo Web apps and static sites can use HTTPS without manual certbot setup.
What is included with a Lifeboat Professional license?
A perpetual license with unlimited servers, web apps, and websites, load balancing, and one year of updates. You can extend your updates when your maintenance period ends.

Questions, bugs reports, feature requests, and inquiries of all kinds are always welcome. The user guide and changelog are also there when you need step-by-step answers.
