Manage Files
Lifeboat offers a SFTP interface for managing the contents of a Website Files source directory on the server. The file management basics are all here. The interface should feel familiar like working in Finder or File Explorer.
There are three ways to enter the SFTP file navigator from the Website Files list view.
- With an entry selected the "Manage Files" button in the bottom right becomes enabled. Click this button.
- With an entry selected, contextual click (right-click) and select "Manage Files"
- Double click a Website Files entry that already has a Domain and Source path configured.
By default, Website Files entries are configured to behave like normal websites, so to get started quickly upload a file named index.html to act as the main landing page.
